How to cancel an email after sending and adjust your time delay settings.

What is the Outbox for?

The Outbox folder is where your outgoing distribution scan be held for up to 2 minutes before being sent. This allows you to undo any "uh oh" moments.

The default is set to 1 minute and can be changed in your settings.


Cancelling a Distribution

Step 1: After sending an email, navigate to your outbox.

Step 2: Select the outgoing email. If you decide to make changes, click on 'Abort'.

Step 3: Confirm your action.

Step 4: The email will then be moved to your drafts folder.


How do I adjust my time delay?

This guide will walk you through the process of adjusting your outbox settings to modify the delay time for your outgoing emails as needed.

Step 1: Go to the right-hand menu and select 'Settings'.

Step 2: In the settings, navigate to the 'Production Setting' tab. Scroll down to 'Outbox Delay' and choose your preferred delay time.

Step 3: Once you have made your selection, scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Save'.

After following these steps, your outgoing emails will remain in your outbox for the duration of the selected delay time.


Why can't I see my message in the outbox?

The common reasons why you cannot see your message in the outbox is because it is either:

  1. In the Sent folder after delay time has lapsed

  2. In your Drafts folder ready for editing

Navigate to the Sent folder and click the message you wish to copy the recipients from. Click 'View Message' and select Copy Recipients.

How do I share distribution drafts with other admins?

Go to the setting page, click 'Production Settings', scroll down to "Email Drafts" and check the 'Share with Admins' box. Save your changes once complete.

What is the Outbox for?

All outgoing distribution is held for 1-2 minutes. In this time, you can go into your inbox and use the 'abort' function. This will stop the email from going out and place it in your drafts folder for further review and/or editing. To edit your outbox settings, navigate to Production Settings.
