Getting Started with Distribution Kit - Overview

How to use the Croogloo Distribution Kit to upload contacts and files, send secure messages, and efficiently manage distributions for streamlined communication in film production.

Welcome to your guide on how to use the Croogloo Distribution Kit. This guide will walk you through the various features and functionalities of the kit.

Uploading Contacts:

Start by uploading your contacts. Click on the 'Upload Contact' button on the right. We recommend using the Google contact import for a quick and efficient import of your production contacts.

Upload Files:

You can upload files from any page in Croogloo. Click on the 'Upload' button to add any file from your computer.

Send a Text Message:

The homepage also provides quick options to send an email or a text message.

Send an Email:

The left-hand menu houses other features of the kit. From here, you can compose a new email, or click the "Send Email" button from the homepage

This will lead you to the distribution creation page.

Distribution Tracking:

The 'Sent' page displays all your sent messages and provides a status report for each recipient.

This is also where you can forward previously sent emails to avoid duplication.

Forward Distribution:

Forward previously sent emails from the sent folder. Select "View Message" on the respective report

And then click "Forward"

Distribution Drafts:

The 'Drafts' folder is where you can share drafts with other administrators.

You can view any ongoing drafts or drafts shared between administrators from this folder. To start sharing drafts, navigate to 'Settings'.

Outbox:

The 'Outbox' stores your outgoing messages for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on your delay settings. This allows you to undo any actions within that time frame. Set this up in 'Settings'.

Distribution Lists:

You can view your lists from the 'List' button. This is where you can add or remove members from different distribution lists.


Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add an Admin?

You can "send invite" to any contact using the three-dot icon next to their name under contacts or directly from their contact card. This will prompt you to select their Security Access Level. Choose Admin.

How do I add someone to a distribution list?

You can add someone to a distribution list when adding their contact information by checking the relevant distro lists. You can also navigate to the Distribution and Lists section, click on Non-Member and select individuals to add to the list.

How do I set Prod Office as the reply-to address?

Create a contact card for the Production Office email and set it to the Production department, and "Production Office" as position. Make sure to invite them as a user and select the Admin security settings. After validating the account, the email will show up as the reply-to address for all admins.
