Categorize production files to direct email and document management.

Production Files

Production documents have been the same for years. Regardless of region, era, or people, features and episodics have been guided by the same paperwork for years, from production script white, to prep schedule, chrono schedule, oneline schedule, shooting schedule, DooD schedule, crew list, call sheet, DPRs/wrap reports.

Each production file breeds its own set of security provisioning, workflows, and recipients. To facilitate administration, access, and distribution of your production file, tag the document category when uploading:


Set/Edit Category after upload

Production file category can always be set or modified after upload from the Documents module. Select Documents on the menu panel, then Files.


Select the document(s) to set or edit category, then click on the 3 dots on the label row to display menu options to pick Edit Category:

When production files are set to category types in Croogloo, the access, administration, and distribution of documents will be stunt free. Examples of how categories are directed are provided below:

  • Oneline Schedule - upload Oneline PDF to schedule department and production from Google calendar or your desired calendar database.

  • Shooting Schedule - upload Shooting Schedule PDF to generate Draft Call Sheets for the entire production and/or schedule department and production from Google calendar or your desired calendar database.

  • Call Sheet - always displayed as first attachment on email distribution.

  • Call Sheet - after generating Sides, option to attach Call Sheet.

  • Prep Schedule - always displayed as first attachment on email distribution.
