Distribution Email Tracking Reports

Track delivery status of your email distribution with your recipients.

Updated over a week ago

Track the status of your email distribution in real time, and get detailed breakdowns for all your recipients.

To access your email tracking reports, select Distribution from the menu panel, then Sent:

Select from the sent message history list, to review the latest tracking report on your distribution request:

Distribution status is classified into 2 groups, success (green) and failure (red).

Successfully distributed messages will be grouped by Sent, Received, and Opened.

Sent - The email was successfully processed and Sent to the recipient's mail provider.

Received - The recipient server Received the email; it may have been opened or viewed already.

Opened - The recipient Opened the email.

Failed messages are segmented by Bounced, Deferred, and Dropped.

Bounced - The email was rejected by the recipient's mail provider. This could be related to an incorrect email or the email being flagged as spam. Validate the spelling of recipient's email address, review recipient spam filters, and try sending the email again. Bounce notifications will be sent independently of the tracking report, should any of your recipients fail to receive the message.

Deferred - The email has been Sent, but the recipient's mail provider has Deferred processing, resulting in a delay up to 72 hours. Try sending the email again to confirm if the server persists in deferring the message or performing as expected.

Dropped - The email was Dropped and not Sent to the recipient. This could be related to an incorrect email or the email being flagged as spam. Validate the spelling of recipient's email address, review recipient spam filters, and try sending the email again.

In addition to accessing your distribution tracking report from the Sent folder, the report is emailed to the production administrator(s) 15 minutes after publishing your message.
