How do we delete dailies?

Want to remove someone from a daily report that was added by an HOD without deleting them from the system and their payroll data? Just leave their times blank when you submit the daily timesheet. You’ll see a “Missing Info” pop-up—choose "No. Mark them as Not In." This will automatically exclude all names with no times from the report. No need to mark each person individually—simply leave the fields blank and confirm “Not In.”

Right now, deleting dailies causes massive problems with payroll. When a daily is wiped, all their reports disappear, payroll records break, and suddenly people are chasing you to remember time entries from weeks ago. To avoid this chaos, we’ve restricted permanent deletion.

We get it: this is frustrating and not user-friendly. After years of suffering through bad software on set, the last thing we wanted was to create another pain point — but in prioritizing payroll integrity, we complicated your reporting experience. For that, we are truly sorry.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Payroll data is critical. Maintaining accurate records is paramount.

  • We’re working on it. An update is coming in the next few weeks to make daily crew management simpler and less admin-heavy, without creating “black holes” for payroll.

  • In the meantime, we can help. If you need a daily removed:

    1. Click Support.

    2. Submit a request with your production name, department, and the daily to be removed.

    3. Confirm if you want us to wipe all dailies across the production (all departments) or just specific entries.

Is wiping dailies reversible?

Unfortunately, once dailies are removed, the process is not reversible.

This is exactly why we generally don’t allow daily crew to be deleted and why we don't offer it on the user system. We know this limitation is frustrating, however, the reason for this restriction is that when dailies are deleted, all of their associated reports are wiped. This is why we offer the "Not In" function, so that daily crew can be hidden while not working and strongly suggest using it instead of requesting to wipe dailies.
