How To Import Contacts into Croogloo

How to import your contacts.

This guide will walk you through the process of importing contacts to Croogloo 3 different ways, via:

  1. Google Contacts,

  2. vCard

  3. Excel templates.


Importing Google Contacts

Step 1:

From any page, locate the "Import Contacts" widget.

Step 2:

Select "Google Contact Import" from the list provided.

Step 3:

Select a Gmail account for synchronization.

This may take a few minutes to process.

Upon successful connection, all contacts and distribution lists stored in the Gmail account will be migrated to Croogloo.

Google Contact Import Report:

After the import process, a detailed report will be sent to your email. This report includes the total number of contacts imported, any errors encountered, and contacts that were not relayed.

Note: Duplicate contact listings are merged during the import process. Any contacts deleted in Croogloo after a Google import will be skipped in future Google imports, unless you modify this setting in your production settings.


Importing vCard Contacts

vCard, also known as VCF, is a standard file format for storing digital contacts.

Step 1:

To import contacts via vCard, click on the contact icon on the header bar.

Step 2:

From here, you can upload your vCard files.

Step 3:

Drag & Drop your vCards into Croogloo

This may take a few minutes to process.


Importing Contacts via Templates

Step 1:

To import contacts using templates, click on the contact icon on the header bar.

Step 2:

Select "Templates" from the menu panel.

Step 3:

The "Contact Import" file will automatically download.

Step 4:

Fill in your crew details.

Step 5:

Once you've completed the template, select "Upload" from within the Templates

Step 6:

Drag & drop the updated file into Croogloo and confirm the upload
